As Everyday Real Estate Ltd Proposes N19b Investment In Emohua LGA.
The Chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr. Chidi Lloyd says his administration is open to partnership with real estate companies willing to invest in the local government area.
He said the local government area is strategically located and blessed with dry land to attract property development companies, and promised to grant waiver on some of the taxes payable to the local government council by real estate companies willing to site their estate in any part of the local government area.
The council chairman stated this at the unveiling of the operational office of Everyday Real Estate Ltd in Emohua, the headquarters of Emohua local government area on Monday.
Reiterating his administration’s commitment to sustaining the already existing peace and security in the area, with a view to attracting rapid development to Emohua local government area, Dr. Lloyd said the local government vigilante services secretariat building conceptualized by his administration is expected to be completed and handed over to the security outfit in few months, to further improve safety and security of but investors and residents of the area.
He added that the local government council was already working out modalities for the launching of a security trust fund for the local government vigilante services and called for the support of cooperate organizations and eminent personalities in the local government area.
Describing the presence of Everyday Real Estate Ltd in Emohua as a timely development, Dr. Lloyd said he was happy that the first real estate development in the area was happening in his own time, predicating his heartfelt gratitude to the scriptures in the book of Zachariah that says ” Do not despise your days of little beginning”.
The council chairman commended the management of the company for not only siting their estate in Emohua but for also situating their operational office in the local government headquarters, which he said was going to provide employment opportunities for the people of the area.
Speaking further, Dr. Lloyd said he was very happy that the narrative about Emohua local government area was gradually changing for good, hence the area was already witnessing the influx of investors, stressing that the days when insecurity was used to scare away investors from the local government area was over, as peace and security has been stabilized across the LGA.
He commended the management of Everyday Real Estate Ltd for the choice of Emohua for the huge investment and promised to extend all necessary support and encouragement to the company’s estate projects in the area.
Representatives of Everyday Real Estate Ltd, Barr Charles Nathaniel and Mr. Ukechi Smith Dibia in their separate remarks,
congratulated Dr. Chidi Lloyd on his laudable achievements in the local government area within few months of his administration, while urging the people of the area to mobilize support for the council chairman to accomplish his vision for the LGA.
Mr. Ukechi Smith Dibia , one of the facilitators of the project said the company had already secured its first site in the local government headquarters, precisely between Elibrada and Oduoha communities along the East-West road and would be commencing construction work in no distant time.
He called for the support and cooperation of residents of the area for the successful take off of the estate development project.
Barr Charles Nathaniel; a director in the company said the management of the company after a comprehensive and empirical research on where to site their estate, found out that the developmental potential in real estate business in Emohua local government area was untapped; the company discovered that the area has 90% of its land on table land and not water logs, 85% of the land in the area is what property developers refer to as “Buy and Build” in the local palace, 80% of the land in the area are inter-neighbored and approximately proximal, with 55% of the land on the East-West road, with a friendly atmosphere and ecosystem that surrounds the environs which the company couldn’t overlook.
He said the company’s presence in Emohua will be create direct employment to about 150 persons and indirect employment to about 700 persons, following the company’s planned nineteen billion naira (N19b) investment in real estate development in the area.
According to Barr Nathaniel; the company’s first estate layout in Emohua which is called “Sapphire Estate Phase 2” is currently on sale along the Elibrada and Oduoha axis of the East-West road at nine hundred and eighty thousand naira (N980,000) per plot.
Highlight of the event was the official opening and inspection of the operational office of Everyday Real Estate Ltd in Emohua by the chairman of the local government area, Dr. Chidi Lloyd.
